Wellness Through Water
Our mission is creating spaces where restoration happens naturally, guided by the calming rhythm of the sea
Return HomeOur Story
Marinova began in 2018 when wellness practitioner Ananya Srisai and marine captain David Chen recognized a need for genuine restoration experiences on the water. Too many yacht services focused on entertainment and activity, leaving travelers feeling more exhausted than renewed. They envisioned something different: journeys where the sea itself becomes part of the healing process.
Starting with a single catamaran and a simple belief that slowing down creates space for wellbeing, they developed their first wellness morning float experience. Early participants reported feeling a quality of rest they hadn't experienced in years. Word traveled through wellness communities, and the approach resonated with people seeking authentic recovery from demanding lives.
Today, Marinova operates three vessels specifically configured for wellness journeys. Each yacht features spaces designed for both gentle movement and deep rest, with crew trained to maintain peaceful environments. Wellness practitioners join every voyage, offering guidance without pressure, allowing each person to engage at their own pace.
The waters around Phuket provide ideal conditions for this work. Protected bays offer calm anchorages, while the tropical setting supports year-round experiences. The marine environment itself contributes to restoration, with natural rhythms that encourage guests to release urgency and reconnect with more natural pacing.
Our approach honors both the restorative power of the sea and each person's individual path to wellness. We've learned that healing doesn't follow schedules or formulas. It emerges when conditions support it: safety, calm, nourishment, gentle guidance, and time away from demands. These elements form the foundation of every Marinova experience.

Our Approach to Wellness
Marinova's wellness philosophy centers on creating conditions where restoration can occur naturally rather than forcing particular outcomes. We understand that healing follows its own timeline and looks different for each person. Some find renewal through gentle movement, others through stillness. Our role is providing safe space for whatever form restoration takes.
The marine environment offers unique support for this process. Water's natural rhythm encourages slower pacing and deeper breathing. The horizon provides visual simplicity that allows mental rest. Being away from land creates natural boundaries around work demands and daily concerns. These elements work together to support the nervous system in shifting from stress response to rest and restoration.
Wellness practitioners aboard our vessels understand this context. They offer guidance without pressure, creating optional opportunities for yoga, meditation, breathwork, or bodywork. Sessions adapt to energy levels and individual needs rather than following fixed schedules. Practitioners also recognize when people need solitude, respecting the restoration that happens in quiet personal time.
Food plays an important role in our wellness approach. Meals provide nourishment that supports energy and clarity without creating heaviness or digestive discomfort. Our chef uses fresh ingredients prepared simply, honoring both nutrition and flavor. Special dietary needs receive the same care and attention as standard preferences.
Ultimately, our measure of success is how guests feel after their time with us. Many report sleeping better, feeling more present, and experiencing a quality of calm that extends beyond the voyage. These outcomes emerge not from forcing wellness but from creating space where it can unfold naturally, supported by skilled guidance, peaceful surroundings, and the restorative presence of the sea.
